The project to build a system of canopy to preserve archaeological pits at Oc Eo-Ba The relic is invested with a total construction area of 8,885m2, including the following areas: Go Linh Son Bac relic, Go Giong Cat relic, Go Sau Thuan relic with a total investment of more than 44 billion VND from the provincial budget. The implementation period is until 2027.

It is known that the Oc Eo - Ba The Cultural Relic Site was ranked as a Special National Monument by the Prime Minister in 2012. Currently, 10 National Treasures are being kept, including: Linh Son Bac Buddha Sculpture, Khanh Binh Stone Buddha statue, Giong Xoai Wood Buddha statue, Brahma Giong Xoai Son Son statue, Kho Linga-Yoni, Kho Linga - Yoni Linh Son, Nhan Nandin Giong Cat, Mukhalinga Ba The; Go Go Cay Tram Mausoleum, Linh Son Bac Buddha statue Head.
In recent times, An Giang province has been focusing all resources with domestic and foreign scientific agencies to actively complete the dossier to aim for the goal of being recognized by UNESCO as Oc Eo Culture as a World Cultural Heritage by 2027.
