In Live Stage 1 of "Tinh Ha Say Hi", DILLAN, WEAN, Xuan Dinh KY and KIMLONG performed the song "Lonely, I'm also happy". The performance was staged in a cinematic style, set in an apartment complex with four rooms to tell stories about the loneliness of grown men.
DILLAN takes on the image of a young man born into a wealthy family but lacking emotional cohesion. This is a role that has many differences compared to the male singer's real life when he grew up in the love of his family. Therefore, the transformation is considered an opportunity for DILLAN to show his acting ability and express emotions on stage.

One of the notable points of the performance is that DILLAN chose the ballad genre. In "Anh trai say hi" season 2, he encountered many difficulties with Vietnamese songs due to language limitations. After nearly a year of training, the male singer said he spends four sessions a week learning vocals, practicing pronunciation and improving his ability to convey emotions.
Looking back at the preparation process for the competition night, DILLAN admitted to having been under pressure when he felt that he had not contributed much to his teammates.
Honestly, I am very lonely because I feel like I can't give anything to the group. I can't write Vietnamese lyrics, so I just try my best to do my part well, hoping the whole group will have good results," DILLAN shared.
The change of the male singer is shown through his song processing, clearer pronunciation and confident demeanor on stage. The performance also received cheers from the audience at the studio.
Assessing the performance, MC Tran Thanh gave words of encouragement to DILLAN: "You did very well. I think your singing part is very good, very emotional. Don't worry about anything. Good people are not always the ones who give opinions. Just do well what you are doing, be responsible to your teammates, that's already good".
After the program aired, DILLAN continued to share his feelings with fans through his personal broadcast channel. The male singer said that what makes him happiest is being recognized by the audience for his progress after a long time of effort.
I know that I am still not perfect at the moment but I am working hard to become a better version. I don't want to stay on track like last season and hope to show the audience many other aspects of myself in the journey at'Tinh Ha say hi'," he expressed.
Born in Hue, raised in the US and having undergone internships in Korea and China, DILLAN pursues the orientation of combining international music thinking with Vietnamese identity. After operating as an independent artist and releasing the single "VVIP", the male singer hopes "Tinh Ha say hi" will be an opportunity to continue to affirm maturity in his artistic journey.
