The handover of Tu Luong Xam relic management is an important step in the work of preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritages in Hai Phong city, contributing to educating the tradition of patriotism, improving spiritual life and developing cultural tourism in the locality.
The historical site of Tu Luong Xam - Ngo Quyen's capital in 938 has a special position in the system of relics worshiping King Ngo Quyen in Hai Phong City. Along with relics and antiques such as royal decrees, stone steles, and worship items, along with architectural structures, it is clear evidence of the history of the relic's existence and development over many centuries, becoming a unique and typical cultural destination for the local community and tourists.
In 1986, the Ministry of Culture (now the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) decided to rank the throne as a national historical relic with the name: Tu Luong Xam regional historical site - Ngo Quyen's capital in 938. In 2022, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism decided to include Tu Luong Xam Festival in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List. On January 17, 2025, the Prime Minister ranked Tu Luong Xam Relic Cluster - Ngo Quyen's headquarters in 938 as a Special National Monument.
