On February 1st, information from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province said that the Provincial People's Committee has just issued a document approving the policy of organizing low-altitude fireworks displays within the framework of the "Spring Colors of the Highlands - Warm Compatriots" Festival, in order to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere for people in the highlands at the beginning of the new Spring.
Accordingly, the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee agreed to organize low-altitude fireworks displays with a scale of 1 firing point, duration not exceeding 15 minutes, expected to take place in the time frame from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM on February 3, 2026 in Que Phong commune. Implementation costs are mobilized from socialized sources and other legal sources, ensuring compliance with the provisions of law.

The organization of fireworks displays within the framework of the "Spring Colors of the Highlands - Warm Compatriots" Festival has profound spiritual significance, contributing to enriching cultural and festival activities at the beginning of the year, and at the same time showing the concern of Nghe An province for ethnic minorities in mountainous areas, remote and isolated areas.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Military Command, Provincial Police and Que Phong Commune People's Committee to implement related tasks, ensuring that fireworks display takes place absolutely safely, in accordance with procedures, on time, without affecting security, order, social safety, environment and people's lives.
