The Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026 organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation in Ho Chi Minh City officially opened this morning (January 31).
On the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has proactively directed and coordinated with Trade Union levels across the country to synchronously implement many activities to care for union members and workers, with the consistent spirit: "All union members and workers have Tet, celebrate Tet". Giving Tet gifts to children in difficult circumstances
On January 31, Ngai Giao Commune Trade Union (HCMC) organized the "Tet for Children" program in 2026, to care for children of union members, workers in difficult circumstances and orphans in the area on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year.
In the program, the Organizing Committee and representatives of units and philanthropists presented Tet gifts to about 60 children in difficult circumstances and orphans in the area. Each gift included cash worth from 1 to 3 million VND depending on the circumstances, along with a gift in kind, with a total budget of more than 70 million VND. Due to the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment of the water plant, many areas in the city have water outages or weak water.
