On the morning of February 1st, functional forces are organizing the search for a missing crew member in the fishing boat sinking incident that occurred at La Gi port, Lam Dong province.
The sunken fishing boat has registration number BTh 85234Ts, capacity 33Cv, with 5 crew members on board. The boat owner and captain is Mr. V.V.H (born 1974, residing in La Gi ward).

At about 5 am on the same day, when the fishing boat was moving into La Gi port, it sank. 4 crew members promptly jumped out of the boat and were rescued by small vehicles operating near the area and brought ashore safely. Mr. V.V.H was swept away by the waves and is still missing.
Upon receiving the news, Phuoc Loc Border Guard Station mobilized 10 officers and soldiers and vehicles to coordinate with forces to deploy the search for missing people.

Over the past time, in the La Gi port area, there have been consecutive cases of fishing boats encountering accidents when entering and leaving the port. The cause was determined to be serious siltation of the port entrance, posing many unsafe risks for ships and boats.
Currently, the La Gi port dredging project has been implemented, dredging vessels have gathered in the port area. Local fishermen hope that the dredging will be carried out soon, clearing the channel in time to ensure safety for fishing vessels when going out to sea.
