According to the Korea Brand Reputation Research Institute (Institute) on December 21, Korean time, Blackpink took the No. 1 spot in the brand value ranking for singers this month with 12,387,721 points.
Although the girls have not had any group activities, the members are still developing strongly with their own projects.
To determine brand value rankings, the Institute analyzes big data in areas including consumer engagement, media activity, communication, and community activity to assess how consumers interact with specific brands.
Following Blackpink, Seventeen took second place this month with 6,572,231 points, followed by trot singer Lim Young Woong in third place with 6,152,107 points.
The top 30 Korean singers with the highest brand value in December, in order, are: Blackpink, Seventeen, Lim Young Woong, aespa, BTS, Big Bang, IVE, DAY6, TWS, BIBI, QWER, FIFTY FIFTY, J.Y. Park, (G)I-DLE, Taeyeon, NCT, Lee Chan Won, TWICE, IU, Lee Young Ji, Cho Yong Pil, BABYMONSTER, ILLIT, Song Ga In, Young Tak, Kang Daniel, Red Velvet, ITZY, Hwa Sa and EXO.
