On the morning of December 21, a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper went directly to the Dr Han Premium cosmetic facility at 72 Nguyen Van Cu, Vinh City, Nghe An and recorded that this facility had closed and ceased operations.
As Lao Dong reported, on November 27, 2024, the Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee issued a decision to fine 25 million VND along with a measure to suspend the operation of Dr Han Premium beauty salon at 72 Nguyen Van Cu, Truong Thi ward for 4.5 months due to violations in service activities.
Accordingly, the above-mentioned facility has committed the following violations: Using drugs, substances, and equipment to intervene in the human body (Meso injection, Laser) to change skin color (skin, lips, face), tattooing, spraying, embroidering on the skin using injectable anesthetics at facilities that are not hospitals with cosmetic specialties or cosmetic clinics or other medical examination and treatment facilities with specialized scope of activities in cosmetic specialties.
This facility has also committed to complying with the above penalty decision but in reality is still operating normally.
As of the morning of December 20, according to reporters, this facility is still operating, with many employees inside. A representative of this facility said it has not been suspended.
Talking to Lao Dong reporter, Mr. Ho Sy Dung - Chairman of Truong Thi Ward People's Committee - said that after Lao Dong Newspaper reported, the ward's working group came to work and Dr Han Premium beauty salon at 72 Nguyen Van Cu committed to stop operating.
Previously, in early 2024, a working group of the Nghe An province health sector inspected the business household of Dr Han Premium International Aesthetic Institute (address 72 Nguyen Van Cu, Truong Thi ward, Vinh city) and discovered that there was a machine with laser and waves installed at the facility without invoices or documents.
The business owner confirmed that these machines were purchased from the old facility. However, because the facility committed to not using machines with waves or lasers on customers, the inspection team did not have enough basis to conclude that the facility used these machines on customers.
However, at the end of November 2024, the facility violated the law and was fined.
