The Korean drama that caused a fever recently about the school theme - "Teach you a lesson" - was suddenly widely shared on social networks.
In particular, episode 4 of the film was hotly discussed by Vietnamese audiences when there was content related to exam cheating for wealthy students, teachers taking advantage of their positions to manipulate the education system.
In the film, the incident happened at Chukmyeong Foreign Language High School, which is considered the ideal model of a prestigious specialized high school: modern facilities, strict entrance and a star teacher praised by all students and parents.
This school also has many students aiming to be admitted to university through high school transcripts. However, behind that glamorous appearance is a rotten system.
The incident began when the Department for the Protection of Teachers' Rights (ERPB) received information that student Park Hyeon Ung of Chukmyeong School had assaulted teacher Cheon Sang Yeol, a famous star nationwide. ERPB members including Hwa Jin, Han Rim, and Geun Dae came to this school to investigate.
The unusual point from the beginning is that Park Hyeon Ung is not an isolated student but a person with top 1 academic achievements in the school, so the motive for him to assault the teacher is suspected.
After the investigation process, ERPB discovered that Hyeon Ung's act of assault on teacher Cheon was because this student from a not-so-well-off family was constantly oppressed by the teacher.

The root cause is that Hyeon Ung dropped out of teacher Cheon's tutoring class halfway when she thought his knowledge was too easy for her ability.
Meanwhile, Hyeon Ung's school achievements are still always Top 1, which directly affects the ranking of rich students who are bribed or exchange benefits by teacher Cheon to ensure a high ranking in the class.
ERPB discovers that all students in teacher Cheon's "special class" are taking extra classes at the Noavis exam preparation academy, except for Hyeon Ung.
The climax of the incident was when a parent asked teacher Cheon to put his child in the Top 10 of the class, while this student was ranked 11th. Meaning that teacher Cheon had to eliminate Hyeon Ung to have the perfect Top 10.
As a teacher cum Head of Academic Affairs Department of Chukmyeong School and having access to the mid-term exam questions, teacher Cheon revealed the answers for ranked 11 students to memorize in advance. But in the end, this student received a score of 0.
The reason is that ERPB intervened in time by changing the position of the questions in the exam. The fraud was exposed when the candidate's answer with 0 points completely matched the correct answer of the original exam.

At the end of the episode, the Minister of Education announces the full results of the investigation at Chukmyeong school with a list of parents bribing to manipulate academic achievements, ranging from businessmen, former officials, prosecutors to politicians.
Many viewers believe that the use of money and power to manipulate academic achievements and cheat on exams is a burning issue in today's society. The film has touched the frustration and anger of students affected by cheating behavior.
In the film, the Department of Protection of Teachers' Rights is a fictional agency but has a unique and professional approach to the problem and investigation process. Many viewers expect a similar agency to appear in real life, so that the dark sides in the education sector can be resolved more thoroughly.
