In 13 years, BTS from a small Korean group has become a global phenomenon.
That means they are often put on the scale with top superstars, including their ability to perform at the Super Bowl or "compete" in the rankings with big names like Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, BTS expressed quite mixed feelings about one day performing on the world's largest stage.
Each year, the Super Bowl attracts more than 100 million viewers. But the mixed reaction that Bad Bunny has to receive this year, because he is the main artist performing in the first half-time singing and rapping entirely in Spanish, also shows that BTS may face criticism because they are artists who mainly sing in Korean.
Regarding this, the leader of RM shared: "Perhaps as time goes by, people's minds will change. Currently, the whole world is watching "Parasite" (a Korean film that won 4 Oscars) and many other great achievements of Korean culture. So if there is an opportunity, surely one day we will want to do it (perform at the Super Bowl)".
Jimin added: "We couldn't do that if we weren't invited". While Jin revealed that he had begun to imagine what BTS's half-time performance would be like.

After a long period of interruption, BTS has just reappeared with the studio album "Arirang". This album has held the No. 1 position on the Billboard 200 chart for the 3rd consecutive week.
The title track "Swim" also topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart - bringing the group to the same "level" as names that regularly dominate the charts such as Harry Styles, Taylor Swift or Bruno Mars.
When asked about their feelings about being considered "competitors" of these artists, RM humbly replied: "They are more great artists than us. We are still very young. We are just a boy band from Korea".
In another part of the interview, Suga recalled that he used to "overcompete" with other artists, but now he thinks he should enjoy more: "I feel that in the process of pursuing goals, we have not paid too much attention to physical and mental health.
But now, we can relax a little more, especially when everyone has become more mature. So, I think now we can enjoy everything more”.
Meanwhile, BTS has just launched the global tour "Arirang" with 3 opening nights at Goyang Stadium (Korea), attracting a total of 132,000 attendees.
The group plans to continue their tour in Tokyo (Japan), North America, Europe, South America and Asia.
The tour will include 85 performances in 34 cities, marking the largest tour ever of a Korean artist and further affirming BTS's global influence.
