In a video posted on May 27 on official media channels, BTS and Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum visited the mansion, the terraced garden and waved to the fan community (ARMY) from the palace balcony facing Zócalo Central Square.

The video content is similar to the images shared by Ms. Sheinbaum on her personal TikTok account on May 7, one day after the official meeting. The documentary recorded the reception of the Latin American national leader for the 7-member band at the office, the moment the band received an honorary certificate from the Mexican Government and the preparation process before stepping out onto the balcony.
Here, the band was welcomed by a wave of cheers from more than 50,000 people (according to official statistics) gathered at Constitution Square (the official name of Zócalo Square). When members RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook stepped out of the presidential palace balcony, the square burst into tears.
¡Hola, somos BTS! (Hello, we are BTS! ), leader RM shouted in front of a sea of people in Zócalo. This moment immediately created a strong media effect on global social networking platforms. In harmony with the enthusiastic atmosphere was the signature trumpet sound of the traditional mariachi band hired by the local fan community to welcome their idol.
The video also records the moment member V sends greetings to local fans with a Spanish sentence: "México, mucho picante" (tentatively translated: "Mexico, very spicy"). This is one of the most impressive statements of the group during the trip. Before the enthusiasm of the audience, member Jimin expressed his surprise and emotion at the precious affection of the public of the land of cacti.
In another scene, BTS members expressed interest when walking around the National Palace and learning about the herd of 16 cats being specially cared for at this iconic colonial architectural work.

At the regular press conference on the morning of May 27, President Sheinbaum once again thanked BTS, and said that the group was completely surprised by the warm welcome of the public at Zócalo.
We have proposed that the group go to the balcony of the National Palace to interact with fans for a few minutes and they happily agreed. In particular, the group said they will return to Mexico next year to thank the audience," Ms. Sheinbaum announced. However, BTS and the management company have not yet officially confirmed this plan.
Previously, President Sheinbaum directly intervened to support the wishes of the domestic public, after all tickets for BTS's 3 shows on May 7, 9 and 10 at GNP Seguros Stadium were sold out in less than an hour. On January 26, the President of Mexico revealed that he had sent an official letter to South Korean President Lee Jae-myung, proposing to increase the show in Mexico. Three weeks later, Seoul responded that it had forwarded this wish to the group's management unit.
The event of BTS to the National Palace of Mexico once again affirmed the global position and influence of the 7 boys from Korea. This return marks a new milestone in the deep predestined relationship between the K-Pop icon and fans in Latin America.
