The story revolves around Jin Woo (Jung Jinyoung) - a guy who took many years to confess his love to his first love Seon Ah (Dahyun).

Speaking about the film, the 27-year-old star said that You are the apple of my eye marked an important milestone in his career when he moved into a new territory, outside of music.
It was a new challenge for me, and I was eager to explore another aspect of myself. Transforming into Seon Ah in the film and breathing life into the character is a wonderful experience.
According to Dahyun, she is someone who is always interested in acting but did not have the right opportunity until she met Seon Ah. The female singer felt deeply connected to the character and was attracted to the nostalgic plot of the film. This is also the reason why she accepted to participate in the film.
Regarding her goals as an actress, Dahyun hopes to take on many diverse roles to challenge herself, while bringing joy and comfort to the audience.
