In the latest episode of the variety show Good Day on MBC, host G-Dragon (Big Bang) had a meeting with guests called the group of friends 88 Nation - celebrities who were all born in 1988 such as G-Dragon - including Kim Soo Hyun, Jung Hae In, Im Si Wan, Kwanghee and Lee Soo Hyuk.
When chatting, many artists expressed their appreciation for the meeting through the show Good Day.
Im Si Wan shared, "It's not easy for the five of us to arrange our schedules, and it's even more difficult for the 88-line members to gather like this. So it's great to be together. I am very excited and curious about how this combination takes place.
Kwanghee also confessed: Its really difficult to make real friends right now. Even when you have feelings, it's not easy to get close, and I'm very grateful for this opportunity."
Kwanghee then told Im Si Wan, "I remember meeting G-Dragon on a music show. At that time, our group (ZE:A) had 9 people. But if I can be reborn, I want to be a member of a group of 3 to sing more".

Hearing that, G-Dragon frankly replied, We didnt become a group of three because we wanted to, indirectly expressing that Big Bangs move from five to three members was not what he wanted.
G-Dragon's shocking words surprised everyone. They burst out laughing, while Kwanghee confused and replied, Thats not what I want to say.
This segment of the show Good Day quickly spread on social networks. Big Bang fans expressed their emotions when G-Dragon always mentioned the group with a respectful attitude.
Big Bang debuted in 2006 with 5 members G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri.

In 2019, Seungri left the group and announced his retirement due to "burning Sun's scandal" ( Regarding accusations of prostitution brokerage, embezzlement and other serious crimes).
Meanwhile, after a 10-month suspended sentence for using marijuana in 2017, T.O.P was almost "in hiding".
Big Bang will return as a 4-member band in 2022, through the song Still Life. But just 1 year later, T.O.P's contract with YG Entertainment ended.
In May 2023, responding to a fan on social media, T.O.P frankly stated: "I have left the group."
Currently, Big Bang is active with the remaining 3 members. Last November, G-Dragon released the song "Home Street Home" featuring Taeyang and Daesung, as a mark for the group's comeback.

They returned to the 2024 MAMA stage after 10 years, making the entire Kyocera Dome stadium explode with the performance of "Home Street Home" and 2 legendary songs of Big Bang - "Bang Bang Bang", "Fantastic Baby".
On February 25, G-Dragon will release his 3rd studio album in his career, titled Übermensch.
The album has a total of 8 songs, including 2 previously released songs: "Power", "Home Sweet Home" and 6 new songs - "Too Bad" (featuring Anderson .Paak), "Drama", "IBELONGIIU", "Take Me", "BONAMANA", "Gyro-Drop".
2 MVs for Drama and Too Bad were also released on the same day. The MV "Too Bad" features female idol Karina of aespa group.
