According to the draft plan, the program "Ha Long Carnaval 2026 - A Wonder to Shine the New Era" is expected to take place from April 25 to May 3, 2026, with the participation of about 4,000 artists, actors, mass forces and attract from 500,000 to 700,000 people and tourists.
Ha Long Carnival 2026 is expected to be held in 2 wards Ha Long and Bai Chay, Quang Ninh province. This is also part of Quang Ninh Culture, Sports, and Tourism Week welcoming summer 2026, with 15 unique activities, including: Opening art program of the Carnival, Street Dance Festival "5 Chau Dance"; Design and creation contest of typical models of the province; Tourist boat light show on Ha Long Bay; Fashion and Ao Dai show with the theme "Heritage and Wonders"..., thereby creating a vibrant and attractive highlight.
For "Ha Long Carnaval 2026", Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee requests relevant units to develop a methodical and professional program, constantly improve quality, and gradually raise international standards. Activities must be organized diversely and attractively, closely linked to the Ha Long Carnival brand, attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists; thereby spreading the image of dynamic, integrated Quang Ninh, and aspiration to reach out in the new era of development.
Ha Long Carnaval was first held in 2007 and became a unique annual event, an important cultural and tourism brand of Quang Ninh province every summer (usually on April 30 - May 1).
Ha Long Carnaval 2025 is the last Carnaval organized by Ha Long City People's Committee because the district-level government was no longer organized afterwards.
Ha Long Carnaval 2025 takes place at 8:00 PM on May 1st in Bai Chay ward, with the gathering of thousands of actors, professional artists, international art troupes, and artisans.
With the theme "Ha Long Carnival 2025 - Connecting Heritage, Pioneering Shining", the program includes 4 parts, including: Opening art program; Ha Long Carnival ball; DJ performance; high-altitude art fireworks display.
