Recently, the film crew of "The Kungfu Women's Football Team" had an exchange with audiences in Hangzhou (China), with the participation of screenwriter and director Stephen Chow and main actress Dilireba.
At the event, Stephen Chow praised Dilraba Dilmurat. He said that the most outstanding point of the "Newborn beauty" is her natural talent. He also said that his biggest impression of the character Ngoc Lung played by Dilraba Dilmurat in the movie is her relaxation and naturalness.
Sharing about Dilireba's performance during filming, Stephen Chow said: "Actually, her training time is not much, because our filming schedule is quite tight. But with such a limited training time, right from the start, she did everything very accurately and completed very excellently".
The 64-year-old director added: "Every time she performs, she brings me surprise. Many times I ask her to perform again, not because she didn't do well. Actually, it's already very good, but I always feel sure she can still bring something even more special.
Previously, the film crew revealed that to play a professional football player, Dilireba gained 8kg, reduced body fat ratio to 14% and trained to have a toned body with clear and balanced muscles.
In addition, she underwent 3 months of closed-door training with high intensity. In the film, Dilraba does not use stunt doubles, but starts learning basic skills such as juggling the ball, dribbling, tackling...
According to the film crew, just one high-difficulty bicycle kick scene, Dilraba had to hang herself on cable for 3 hours, filming up to 17 times. At the end of the filming session, the actress's waist was full of bruises.
Not to mention, action scenes combining football and martial arts also make collisions and bruises on the training ground become commonplace.

The "Kungfu Women's Football Team" inherits the classic brand "Shaolin Football Team" of Stephen Chow, combining football with Shaolin martial arts to tell the enthusiastic story about the journey of fighting and pursuing the dream of the Nga Mi women's football team, when participating in the "Chi Son championship cup" tournament.
Although initially not highly rated, under the leadership of captain Song Song (Truong Tieu Phi), striker Ngoc Lung (Nhiet Ba) and coach Tu Phong (Truong Nghe Hung), the whole team boosted their spirit, shined on the pitch and created a comeback to win the championship.
As of 8 am on July 15 (China time), "The Kungfu Women's Football Team" has reached a revenue milestone of 760 million CNY (about 2,900 billion VND) after more than 4 days of release.
Currently, the film leads real-time box office revenue in China, and is also in the Top 6 highest-grossing films in mainland China in 2026.
Maoyan predicts that the total revenue of the "Kungfu Women's Football Team" may exceed the 3 billion CNY mark.
