The 2024 Golden Ball Awards ceremony witnessed the historic victory of famous names in the world of cinema.
Notably, director Christopher Nolan won the Golden Globe Award for Best Director for the film Oppenheimer.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, director Nolan recalled his first time standing on the Golden Globe stage for his role in The Dark Knight Rises.
He said it was a particularly complex and memorable moment. At that time, Robert Downey Jr. is an audience member who supports him.
"While talking, I looked up and Robert Downey Jr. caught my eyes. He gave me a loving and supportive look, just like the look he is giving me now. That is the love and support he has given to so many others in our community and more over the years," Nolan recalled.
The director said that as a director, he only represented the film crew to receive awards. That is the result of the efforts of the members of the group. He also thanked the cast and crew for their great efforts in work.
At the 2024 Golden Ball, Oppenheimer received a total of 8 nominations. Up to now, the work has won a number of important categories including Best Actor in a Drama Series (Cillian Murphy), Best Supporting Actor ( Robert Downey Jr. ), Best Director (Christopher Nolan), Best Choreography (Ludwig Göransson).
The award results will continue to be monitored and updated.
