Speaking at the death anniversary of the City official Nguyen Huu Canh, Mr. Nguyen Son Hung - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Nai province said that the death anniversary of the King this year became more special when the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism listed it in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
To preserve and promote the value of the traditional festival of the Nguyen Huu Canh Imperial Citadel Ceremony, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is requested to coordinate with localities and relevant units to preserve and fully restore the original values of the festival; study and prepare a scientific dossier to advise the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Prime Minister for decision to recognize the special national relic in the coming time.


Also within the framework of the death anniversary, Bien Hoa City also organized a painting contest with the theme of historical figures and beautiful landscapes of Bien Hoa. On the evening of June 11, a ceremony will be held to release 1,000 flower lanterns on the Dong Nai River in front of the relic and fireworks artistically.
