According to the latest data from Circle Chart in the week from September 6-12, Cortis's second EP "Greengreen" has exceeded accumulated sales of 4.1 million copies.
Allkpop said that among the Kpop albums released in Korea from the beginning of 2026, currently only two products have surpassed the 4 million copies mark, "Arirang" by BTS and "Greengreen" by Cortis.
This achievement shows the group's remarkable growth rate. In its first week of release, "Greengreen" sold 2,313,291 copies, much higher than the previous week's approximately 430,000 copies of the product.
By July, the album reached 3 million copies after about 11 weeks of release. About two months later, the product continued to have more than one million copies to surpass the 4.1 million mark.
Greengreen" includes the title track "Redred" along with songs like "YoungCreatorCrew", "Acai", "Blue lips". In addition to traditional album versions, Cortis also releases many formats associated with goods such as LP discs, lip balm, dice and Cortis Ball.
Not only achieving high sales in Korea, "Greengreen" debuted at number 3 on the Billboard 200. According to Allkpop, as of the latest chart, the album has appeared on the Billboard 200 for 18 consecutive weeks.
The effect from "Greengreen" also led to the sales of the debut product "Color outside the lines". This album sold about one million more copies in 2026, raising accumulated sales to about 2.3 million copies.
Cortis recently concluded its first solo tour "2026 Cortis Tour", passing through Korea, North America and Japan. According to sources, all 7 shows in North America sold out tickets immediately after opening for sale.
The group also appeared at Lollapalooza Chicago in July and is scheduled to perform within the framework of the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix in October.
The fact that "Greengreen" surpassed 4.1 million copies helped Cortis continue to narrow the sales gap with top Kpop names. However, this achievement also shows that physical album sales currently do not only come from music, as diverse versions and collected products are increasingly becoming an important part of how Kpop groups boost record sales.
