Dong Nai - Heavy rain on the afternoon of September 18 caused many areas in the center to be flooded and congested, including the Tan Phong intersection underpass.

In the afternoon of September 18, according to reporters of Lao Dong newspaper, a heavy rain started at about 5 pm on the same day, causing many roads in the central area in some wards of Dong Nai City to be flooded. The rain coincided with rush hour for workers returning from work, causing traffic congestion in many areas.

Accordingly, on Bui Van Hoa street (Long Binh ward), many sections are heavily flooded, causing traffic jams. In addition, many road sections in this area are heavily damaged, making people's travel even more difficult.

In alley 68 Dong Khoi street (Trang Dai ward), water from the residential area overflowed onto the road, causing traffic congestion here, and some vehicles stalled on the road.

On National Highway 1, the section from Tam Hiep roundabout to Amata Industrial Park was flooded, causing traffic congestion.

The Tan Phong intersection underpass area experienced heavy rain, causing localized flooding and traffic congestion.

Previously, on July 13, 2023, heavy rain caused the Tan Phong underpass on Dong Khoi street to be heavily flooded. The Tan Phong intersection underpass was opened to traffic in 2018.
