Paris Men's Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027 is taking place in the context of a record heat wave in Europe, many times exceeding 40°C, causing many stars and fashionistas to struggle to find ways to maintain an elegant and neat appearance in harsh weather.
Although participating in the summer collection show, many stars and brand ambassadors were assigned outfits from previous seasons, most recently the Autumn/Winter 2026 collection, so they could not avoid the "challenging" appearances of the hot weather in France.
At the Ami Paris show, Korean actor Choi Woo Sik appeared in a prominent appearance, combining a light blue shirt with a red jacket, striped tie and classic brown trousers.
The actor's appearance attracted attention, but what was discussed a lot was Choi Woo Sik wearing a thick jacket in the scorching weather.
Thai star Bright was also no less "breathless" when his outfit had to be draped with a sweater on his neck over a black t-shirt of the same color. The video of the male actor continuously using tissues to soak sweat on his face has spread on social networks.

Many historical venues have become hot, guests have to sit close together, the air conditioning system is either not available, or operates ineffectively, and even drinking water sources have become scarce.
In this situation, many shows have changed the time or moved locations to avoid models and guests having to endure the harsh heat. Typically, Jonathan Anderson's Dior show and Rick Owens' show took place outdoors, so they decided to move the time to the morning time frame to avoid the heat.
Fashion houses also find ways to help guests and ambassadors cool down. In the courtyard of the Nissim de Camondo Museum, Dior show guests are given hand fans, small cold towels, white sunshades and elaborately mixed cooling drinks.
The three members of the group CORTIS - Keonho, Juhoon and Seonghyeon - attracted attention when attending the Dior show together, but the most powerful moment of spread was the image of them continuously fanning in high-end spaces, because it was too hot.

At Egonlab's show, each seat was prepared with a hollow water gun. At the end of the performance, staff used these guns to spray water to help guests cool down.
At the Issey Miyake show, drinking water is taken directly from the freezer, and viewers are also given freezer bags for immediate use. Meanwhile, outside Auralee's show, the organizers continuously spray water onto the sidewalk to cool down the customers queuing to enter.
However, at a show, the organizers once considered not distributing water to guests, because they only found water bottled in plastic bottles to serve, which is not suitable for a luxurious space.
According to international media, Paris Fashion Week is not a small cultural event. This is one of the most important "export machines" of France, with 6 fashion seasons each year, gathering leading luxury fashion houses in the world along with a large number of celebrities, fashion editors, shoppers and VIP guests, creating a billion-dollar industry.
However, many performances are still being held in ancient structures built for a period with a cooler climate.
This heat wave raises a big question: should Paris continue to organize Fashion Week and Haute Couture Week at the peak of summer, as climate change is causing extreme heat waves to appear with increasing frequency and increasing severity.
