According to Box Office Vietnam - an independent box office monitoring unit, for 3 days (2 weekends and 1 anniversary of the Ancestor's Commemoration), the movie "Die Thuong" earned 10 billion - 20 billion VND per day. Currently, the film "The Earth" has earned more than 81 billion VND.
With the current ticket sales rate, "The Geeland" is expected to soon surpass the 100 billion VND mark. In the coming time, this work will continue to maintain its appeal due to few competitors.
Meanwhile, foreign blockbusters do not attract too many audiences at Vietnamese theaters. For example, the movie "Minecraft" earned 13 billion VND - a blockbuster adapted from a classic game; "Secret of the Doctor" - an action movie starring Jason Statham earned more than 9 billion VND.
Meanwhile, the film "am Duong Lo" has cooled down and only earned about 1 billion VND on weekends and holidays.
The remaining films such as " super difficult job", "Chase decision", "Moonlight girl" had poor revenue. Of which, "Young Women of the Moon" only earned more than 100 million VND despite being shown for a while.
In general, Vietnamese box office revenue during the recent holidays did not have a big breakthrough. The movie "The Earth" is almost the main ticket seller in theaters. At one point, "The Geography" had more than 5,000 screenings, completely overwhelming compared to other films.
In the coming time, upcoming films are mainly foreign projects, while "Flip Side 8" and "Detective Kien" - two Vietnamese films that received a lot of attention - were scheduled to be released at the end of April.
Thus, it is predicted that in the coming days, the Vietnamese box office will not have a film that creates a box office fever like "The Geography".
