According to information from the US court, Mr. Gerard Williams III sued the defendants for slander, insulting honor, and spreading false information on social networks that damaged his personal reputation and his family.
Present in court, the plaintiff, Mr. Gerard Williams III, had lawyers representing him. As for the defendants, some YouTubers and social media users were absent. A female YouTuber appeared at the trial on June 19 and defended herself.
According to the trial, the female YouTuber expressed her desire to withdraw from the lawsuit due to mental stress. She said that her daughter had left home because of the recent noise.
She also affirmed that she is a good person, I live honestly, and just want to share my thoughts on social networks.
However, the plaintiff, who are lawyers representing Mr. Gerard Williams III, did not accept this explanation and pointed out that this female YouTuber posted insulting information related to Mr. Gerard Williams III.
On the court's side, the judge allowed the parties to settle through separate mediation.
The court scheduled a preliminary hearing on November 6, 2025. The official trial will take place on November 11, 2025.
The court allows the parties to submit and exchange evidence, list of witnesses and recommendations, with a deadline of November 4, 2025. If they do not submit on time, that party may lose the right to present at the trial.
