Nearly 2,300 hectares of urban land in Da Nang are subject to inspection
The Government Inspectorate has just announced a thematic inspection plan for projects and works that are behind schedule, have long backlogs, are ineffective or show signs of violations, in which Da Nang is one of the key localities.
Accordingly, 5 super projects in Da Nang were included in the inspection. Of which, 1 project is in the old Quang Nam province and 4 projects are concentrated in Da Nang urban area. Among these, the project with the most complaints is the Commercial Services Complex, Apartment and Residential Land Complex (nearly 8.7ha) of Phu Gia Thinh Housing Business Investment Joint Stock Company.

All 5 projects inspected this time are projects with prime locations, expected to create momentum for urban development in the South and Southwest of the city. However, over the years, these projects have been slow to be implemented, encountering problems in legal procedures, site clearance, etc.
The inspection aims to comprehensively assess the implementation status, clarify the reasons for the delay, detect inadequacies in mechanisms and policies to propose amendments, and at the same time determine the responsibilities of relevant organizations and individuals if there are violations.
Da Nang City Inspectorate takes action with 6 projects
In parallel with the plan of the Government Inspectorate, the Da Nang City Inspectorate has also established 4 inspection teams, directly reviewing 6 other major projects in the area according to the direction of the Central Government.
Accordingly:
Team No. 1 inspected the Le Trong Tan Road Project (section connecting to Phuoc Ly 6) and Phuoc Ly 2 Resettlement Area.
Team No. 2 inspected the Tran Hung Dao Road Expansion Project and Hoa Lien 5 Resettlement Area.
Team No. 3 inspected the Da Nang Information Technology Park Project - Phase 2.
Team No. 4 inspects the Rural Power Supply Project from the National Grid of Quang Nam province.

The inspection period is calculated from the time of project implementation to July 1, 2025 and can be expanded when necessary. Each inspection shall not exceed 30 days, with the deadline for completing the conclusion before September 15, 2025.
The simultaneous participation of the Government Inspectorate and the City Inspectorate shows Da Nang's determination to completely handle the "bottlenecks" in procedures, legality and operational responsibilities that have caused projects to be delayed for a long time.
In addition to the goal of preventing violations, this inspection also aims to create a transparent, fair and effective legal corridor, thereby unlocking land resources, serving economic growth, sustainable urban development and attracting strategic investment to the city.
