On the afternoon of August 7, Mr. Tran Van Phu - Head of Nha Trang Tourist Wharf, under the Nha Trang Bay Management Board, informed that at around 8:00 a.m. this morning (7.8), the unit's staff discovered a large whale swimming to hunt for prey in the Hon Mun sea area.
According to the video, the whale feeds prey very close to the shore. This scene is very rare, making witnesses extremely excited.

Previously, at around 11am on July 22, a member of a diving club in Nha Trang recorded a whale emerging from the water to prey on the Hon Rom area.
This is the first time the whale has been recorded appearing in the Hon Rom area - where only pork has been recorded in the past.
After that, this whale continuously appeared in the Hon Mun sea area, attracting many people to admire and take beautiful moments of the whale.
After that, the whale did not appear. Recently, a whale drifted into Lam Dong sea and died, causing many people regret.
The whale reappearing near the shore in the Hon Mun sea area - an area in the strictly protection zone of the marine reserve - is a particularly important ecological phenomenon, reflecting signs of recovery of the marine environment.
To protect the marine environment and maintain the stability of the ecology of Nha Trang Bay, Nha Trang Bay Management Board requires organizations and individuals operating in the marine area near where the whale does not appear to receive it, keeping a minimum distance of 100 meters for the whale.
Do not control the pursuit vehicle, turn the head, separate the mother fish from the child (if following the hood) or deliberately steer the boat into the middle of the fish pack.
Inland waterway vehicles serving tourism must not gather around areas with elephants, reduce speed, limit noise, and turn off the engine when stopping to observe to avoid causing stress for individuals.
Do not use flycams at high altitudes that cause loud noises.
