Recently, P.O (Pyo Ji Hoon) - a male actor who is being noticed with Netflix's hit drama "Teach you a lesson" - had an interview with Korean media.
Lifetime Lessons" revolves around the activities of the Department of Protection of Teachers' Rights - a fictional organization aimed at restoring order in schools and protecting victims. P.O plays Bong Geun Dae, an excellent administrative official of this agency.
Although P.O was first known to the public through entertainment programs and as a member of the Block B group, his acting journey was not always smooth sailing.
After appearing in the 2019 television series "Hotel del luna", he faced much criticism related to facial expressions, speech, and pronunciation.
Even in later projects, including the 2024 TV series "Good Partner", many viewers still think that his acting has not improved significantly, while others question whether he was chosen for the wrong role.

However, P.O has never lost his love for acting.
He shared: "I think from a young age I really loved cinema, acting and stage drama. That passion is a great motivation for me. I also hope that through acting, more people will be interested and come to see our plays.
Currently running his own theater company, P.O revealed that he is preparing an original play expected to premiere around December this year at the Daehangno Theater in Seoul.
He said that the movie "Life's Lesson" has a special place in his career.
Teach you a lesson is a work that helped me have faith in myself. There are still many things I wish I could do better and I still feel that I need to improve a lot. But this is a project that makes me feel that I can continue to pursue this profession," the actor shared.
He added: "For a long time, I only focused on how much I was lacking and how much more I needed to try. When someone trusts you, it will create a positive resonance. For me, "Teach you a lesson" is the project that brought that belief and courage.

When asked about the types of characters he wants to play in the future, P.O said that he wants to portray people with more complex personalities: "I also have a sharp and quite sensitive side. But instead of expressing those characteristics in a too obvious or forced way, I want to express them in a more natural and subtle way.
Finally, he said that one of his biggest goals as an actor is to build character development in a convincing way: "I think my challenge in the future is to learn to portray the changes of a character so that viewers feel truly confident.
P.O emphasized that he is determined to continue to grow and improve himself, both on screen and on stage.
