This time's theme is "Vietnamese Business Culture - New Value System from Breakthrough Thinking of the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress".
The "Culture with Business" Forum 2026 is organized by the Vietnam Business Culture Development Association (VNABC under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in coordination with the Vietnam National Group of Industry and Energy (Petrovietnam).
Speaking at the opening, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy emphasized that the 14th National Congress of the Party and Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the development of Vietnamese culture have established a breakthrough thinking.
For the first time, our Party clearly defined: "Cultural and human development is the foundation, an important endogenetic resource, a great driving force, a pillar, a regulatory system for rapid and sustainable development of the country".
In order to implement the Party's strategic vision, with the motto of fundamentally and comprehensively innovating thinking from "doing culture" to "state management of culture", creating development through perfecting institutions and policies, the forum is an opportunity to exchange, discuss and clarify some major orientations.
Speaking at the forum, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh said that the campaign to build Vietnamese business culture launched by the Prime Minister on November 7, 2016 is not only a policy initiative but also a strategic decision, laying the foundation for the sustainable development of the Vietnamese business community in the context of increasingly deep international integration.
Within the framework of the campaign since 2021, the "Culture with Business" Forum is organized annually with a variety of themes each year, which has made an important contribution to promoting the formation and spread of Vietnamese business culture standards suitable for development requirements in the new era and honoring businesses that have made many contributions to building culture.
The Document of the 14th National Party Congress emphasized that rapid and sustainable economic development, building an independent and self-reliant economy, strongly promoting all resources of the country, in which the State economy plays a leading role, and the private economy is an important source of inspiration for the economy and economic sectors to develop together in the long term, cooperate, and compete healthily.
This poses increasingly high requirements for business culture and entrepreneurial ethics. Our country aims for two strategic goals and to realize that aspiration, we need more new businesses to be established and together build a stronger, more courageous, creative, responsible and imbued with Vietnamese cultural identity Vietnamese community.
Also at the forum, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh requested ministries, departments, branches, central and local agencies, and the Vietnamese business community to focus on implementing a number of tasks according to their functions and tasks.
Within the framework of the forum, there were two high-level seminars. Session 1 had the theme "Constructive Government - Improving institutions for new business standards". Session 2 had the theme "Acting businesses - Spreading values and raising the level of Vietnamese businesses".
The two discussion sessions focused on clarifying the role of the State in perfecting institutions, while affirming the responsibility and commitment to action of the business community in building, implementing and spreading Vietnamese business culture standards in the new era of development.
At the forum, the Organizing Committee announced the set of values of Vietnamese business culture in the new era with the foundational philosophy: "People for the People - Taking the people as the root". The system of 12 core values is structured into three levels, including: Level of entrepreneurial character; Level of business bravery; Level of global stature.
This is considered a new development step of the "Building Vietnamese Business Culture" Campaign launched by the Prime Minister since 2016, contributing to building a transparent, responsible and sustainable business environment; and at the same time enhancing the prestige and position of Vietnamese businesses in the global economy.
