On April 22, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the Department of Industry and Trade to announce the Ceramics - Hot air balloons Festival of Dong Nai province 2025, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025)
According to the organizers, the Dong Nai Ceramics and Hot air balloons Festival 2025 is organized to promote culture and preserve the famous traditional values of Dong Nai province with Bien Hoa ceramics - a valuable cultural heritage that has existed and developed through many generations. The festival is an opportunity to widely introduce artistic pottery products, while arousing pride in local cultural identity; promoting the development of tourism and services.
In particular, the Dong Nai Ceramic Festival 2025 will take place with many rich activities such as: Exhibition of unique artistic ceramic products with high cultural and aesthetic values of Dong Nai ceramics and famous ceramic products across the country; Seminar "Solutions for preserving and developing traditional ceramics in the integration period" held at 8:00 a.m. on April 28 at the Hall of Dong Nai College of Fine Arts.
Organize the contest to design the logo and brand of the Bien Hoa - Dong Nai Traditional Ceramics Festival; Photo contest " design ideas & Decoration of traditional ceramic products"; Introduce the history, production process and development of the Bien Hoa Ceramics profession; Visit Tan Hanh Ceramics Industrial Cluster and the destination at Dong Nai College of Decoration and Fine Arts.
The exchange activities between artisans and the public help raise awareness of traditional artistic values, while promoting the development of Bien Hoa pottery village.
The Dong Nai Ceramic Festival 2025 will be held at the Provincial Center for Events and External Affairs, taking place from April 27 to April 30.
For the 2025 Hot air balloon Festival, 50 hot air balloons will be flown hanging at the opening ceremony on the morning of April 27. Tourists are free to participate in hanging flights, see the whole of Bien Hoa city and surrounding areas from a height of no more than 50m, and visit the hot air balloon.
The Hot air balloon Festival is held at Son Tien Eco-tourism Area (Bien Hoa City) and Nguyen Van Tri Park, Dong Nai Riverside (organizing performances and flower lantern nights with hot air balloons lit up on the night of April 30).
