The producer of the film "Lay Binh Lo" issued a letter of apology to the cast on the evening of March 27. The manufacturer's representative confirmed that the use of ambulances appearing on the red carpet was the arrangement unit.
The cast only followed the producer's instructions to plan. Therefore, the unit took all responsibility and apologized for affecting the reputation and life of the cast.
"We would like to admit our fault and take full responsibility for our recent actions, as well as coordinate with the authorities to remedy the consequences of the incident," the producer said.
In the early morning of March 28, Dai Nghia posted on his personal page, speaking after the noise of sitting in an ambulance to launch the movie "Am Duong Lo". The artist apologized to the audience for the incident.
"Due to subjectivity, Nghia made a mistake. Even if the car reached the place where it had just been honked and the traffic light was ringing, even if it had not been allowed for even 1 second, it was still wrong.
Nghia had accepted to get in that car, even though he didn't know where to go, it was still wrong. Once again, Nghia would like to sincerely apologize to you," Dai Nghia said.
He said he had received an apology and correction letter from the film crew of Am Duong Lo. However, the actor also admitted his mistakes and his subjectivity.
"The reason why no one wondered is because they thought the film crew had been filming this car for a long time, so of course they knew how to ask for permission at this event. I came to an event that was so grand, I thought everything had to be permitted and approved.
Nghia was wrong to be subjective in this matter, leading to the incident where Nghia and the actors got in the car to appear at the event as everyone had seen," he said.
On the evening of March 26, the premiere of the film "Yun Lao" by director Hoang Tuan Cuong took place in Ho Chi Minh City. The event was held at Mega GS cinema, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.
Notably, the crew used an ambulance to carry actors, directors... to the event. Sitting in this car were actors such as Bach Cong Khanh, Lan Thy... All of them got out of the car door, then entered the event venue.
On the evening of March 26, the Traffic Police Department (PC08), Ho Chi Minh City Police invited the driver and brought the ambulance to the headquarters for verification and clarification. After that, the authorities fined the ambulance driver 2.5 million VND.
