On the afternoon of April 10, social networks spread a series of posts from a Facebook account named Nguyen Thien Nhan, with content revolving around family conflicts, money and property, causing public uproar.
In the status lines, the writer mentioned "demanding to get back what was exchanged for sweat and tears", mentioning houses, money, fan pages and claiming that he was treated unfairly for a long time. Some content also used harsh words, with the nature of putting pressure, attracting great attention from the online community.
Regarding this incident, Mr. Cam - Thien Nhan's older brother - shared his thoughts with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper.
Mr. Cam said that this social media account with 27,000 followers previously belonged to Nguyen Thien Nhan but was locked, then suddenly reactivated and posted content that caused public uproar.
We suspect that these articles were not written by Nhan, but currently the family cannot contact them directly to verify," Mr. Cam shared.
The family also denied information that there was "exploitation", "embezzlement of money" of the female singer. Family representatives affirmed that they are ready to work with functional agencies and take responsibility before the law if there are any violations.
According to the family, for many months, they have almost lost contact with Thien Nhan, making it difficult to verify information online. Faced with this situation, the family is considering reporting to functional agencies in Ho Chi Minh City to be supported in verifying and clarifying the matter.
The family also called on the public to be cautious when receiving information, avoid speculation or spreading unverified content, while waiting for official conclusions from functional agencies and direct feedback from the female singer.
