After the scandal about Thien Nhan's disappearance broke out, on the female singer's Fanpage, the manager named Minh Phuong posted a picture of the 2002 singer and said that her current life is still good.
This move by Thien Nhan's management is to reassure the audience worried about the disappearance of the female singer recently.
However, on the afternoon of April 7, when exchanging with Lao Dong Newspaper, the female singer's older brother - Mr. Cam - emphasized that only when Thien Nhan appeared himself or contacted his family again, was all information verified.
Mr. Cam affirmed that although Thien Nhan's fanpage posted images of the female singer, currently, the family has not been able to contact the female singer again.
Only when he livestreams, appears directly or calls home to his family can he clearly confirm. As for the information posted on the Fanpage, anyone can post it, it cannot be verified, it may be fake," Mr. Cam said.
According to him, the family tried to contact Thien Nhan's personal phone number, which had previously contacted the family, but is now blocked.
Almost all previous phone numbers are no longer contactable. Even I texted through Fanpage and did not receive a response, even being blocked," Mr. Cam said.
Mr. Cam also mentioned his younger sister's current management account. Although there is still a contact channel, this side has not responded or shows signs of avoidance.
I have Thien Nhan's manager's number, but this person does not answer the phone, does not answer, and even blocks contact from my family," he said.
Before reporters' questions about Thien Nhan being grown up (24 years old this year) and having the right to self-determination in her personal life, Mr. Cam said that the family does not have to manage the female singer. However, the family was still forced to speak out when they noticed unusual signs.
If it is just a normal life choice, the family can respect it. But when there are signs that my younger sibling may be affected or exploited, no family can stand aside," he shared.
According to Mr. Cam, the family has held some information and evidence related to Thien Nhan being exploited by some people, but cannot yet announce it due to its sensitive nature. "What the family is doing is to protect him, avoid long-term consequences," he added.
Currently, the family's biggest wish is still that Thien Nhan can directly speak up or contact to confirm his condition. "The most important thing is to know if he is safe or not," Mr. Cam emphasized.
