On August 10, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province issued an official dispatch requesting the review and re-inspection of projects and construction works at famous and attractive tourist destinations in the province.
Accordingly, the famous scenic spot of Chu Dang Ya volcano - Hoan Kiem Lake is a prominent tourism symbol of Gia Lai.
The Hoan Kiem Sea is located in the "Hoan Kiem Sea Forest Ecotourism Area" complex; belongs to National Tourist Areas according to the "Overall Planning for Tourism Development of Vietnam and the Central Highlands to 2020, with a vision to 2030".
Currently, at these tourist destinations, investors are implementing the construction of welcome gates, exhibition houses (more than 25 billion VND) and greenhouses at the foot of the volcanoes (9.4 billion VND).

Gia Lai province requires investors to work with the Department of Construction and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to report specifically on the construction of architectural works. The report needs to clarify the project approval and appraisal process, as well as the integration of traditional cultural elements of ethnic groups in the province into the design and construction.
The construction must avoid concretization and pay special attention to preserving traditional cultural identity, such as: gong cultural space, stilt house architecture, typical cultural symbols of the Bahnar and Jrai ethnic groups...
The People's Committee of Gia Lai province affirmed that the greenhouse is a symbol of the traditional community living space, associated with the customs, practices and spiritual life of the local people.
Therefore, the project must ensure the preservation of original architecture, use traditional materials, avoid concreting or other forms that cause offense, and remove a unique cultural value.
Chu Dang Ya is one of the most beautiful and famous canyons in Gia Lai, once voted by the British magazine as one of the 10 most beautiful canyons in the world.
The famous scenic spot of the Sea of Lake is also a "red address" for Gia Lai tourism, a symbol of the mountain town of Pleiku, attracting a large number of tourists every year.
Currently, Gia Lai is building a dossier to propose UNESCO to recognize the Roc Tung - Go Da Archaeological Complex, An Khe ancient stone complex as a World Heritage Site. The province requires relevant departments and branches to manage these relics in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Cultural Heritage.
At the same time, implement a comprehensive research program on the An Khe An Tinh - Go Da Archaeological Site according to the announcement of the Government Office.
