The Human Act Prize 2024 continues to seek and honor the spirit of dedication and commitment of individuals and organizations across the country; seek and honor outstanding initiatives that contribute to promoting sustainable development in Vietnam.
This is an award that does not discriminate against age, status or geographical location, and does not hesitate to take on the mission of building a better and more prosperous community.
The award is expected to add confidence to Community Action projects and promote social impact initiatives to be implemented effectively, transparently and have a profound impact on society.
Mr. Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of Central Propaganda, Chairman of Vietnam Journalists Association, Head of Organizing the Community Action Award, said that since the Award Gala in November 2023, community projects have continued to be implemented and initiated across the country.
Not only large enterprises have proactively taken on the responsibility of contributing, but there have also appeared many volunteer groups and small-scale projects with good and creative ways of doing things, which have begun to inspire society, suggesting many other organizations and individuals to replicate the model.
“We think that no one who does charity work expects to be honored. But society cannot forget that contribution. The birth of the Human Act Prize is a timely step. Thanks to the award, we know that there are projects that last 15-20 years that no one knows about, there are large-scale projects that no one mentions, there are small people who have helped tens of thousands of lives,” Mr. Le Quoc Minh shared.
“If large businesses, large organizations, and the network of community workers connect more, join hands more, are honored and spread more, the coverage and effectiveness of projects will certainly make great strides,” he affirmed.
Representing the Inspiration Project that won the Human Act Prize 2023, Mr. Pham Quoc Viet - Captain of the FAS Angel First Aid Support Team, expressed that through the program, the FAS Angel team is connected with organizations and individuals with enthusiastic volunteer hearts.
“The most obvious connection effect was that after the program, from the community's donations as well as the great help of some members of the Jury, we had enough funds to buy a first aid vehicle that met the standard number 04 Kindness.
In addition, the award has given us more motivation to try to contribute more to the community and society, helping to erase the physical and mental pain of the victims," he said.
In addition to the main activities within the framework of the 2024 program, this year's award will have some new highlights such as launching the publication "Pioneering Marks - Innovation in Social Impact in Vietnam", opening the Nomination Portal for the first time - an opportunity for everyone to search for and honor outstanding initiatives, contributing to promoting sustainable development in Vietnam.

The Human Act Prize 2024 Nomination Portal officially opens on September 23, 2024. In the spirit of the theme “Community Creation”, the Community Nomination Portal is a space for the public to nominate projects that they believe can create positive change in society.
