According to the document of the Department of Cinema sent to the Electronic Information Portal of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, after receiving information reflecting on the film "Let Me Shine" produced in China, which is being disseminated on cyberspace in Vietnam, including the image of " map of the road of the cow's tongue" violating national sovereignty and violating Article 9 of the Law on Cinema 2022, the Department of Cinema issued Official Letter No. 1537/DA-VP dated October 3, 2025 on reporting and explaining the release and dissemination of the film "Let Me Shine" (first time) and Official Letter No. 1541/DA-VP dated October 3, 2025 on reporting and explaining the release and dissemination of the film "Let Me Shine" (second time) in which the Film Producer Company was required to report and disseminate the above film.
By 4:40 p.m. the same day, the Department of Cinema had received reports and explanations from 4 Companies.
Currently, the film "Let Me Shine" is no longer popular on online film promotion platforms in Vietnam.
The Department of Cinema will continue to monitor, inspect and handle violations in accordance with the provisions of law.
