The Korean drama "Climax" tells a fierce survival story revolving around Bang Tae Seop (played by Joo Ji Hoon) - who is haunted by the death of his father, a worker who committed suicide after being wrongly imprisoned by a corrupt prosecutor for labor activities. He is determined to become a prosecutor to seize power and reach the peak.
Meanwhile, Ha Ji Won plays Chu Sang Ah - Bang Tae Seop's wife - also a retired A-list actress.
On April 6, in an interview with Korean media, Ha Ji Won shared about her understanding when collaborating with Joo Ji Hoon.
The actress said about her co-star: "He makes the other person feel very comfortable. Even in one-on-one action scenes, because we trust each other, we coordinate very well.
She added: "Because we are compatible even when we don't need to rehearse, so we don't have to reshoot many times. Although it's difficult scenes, we film very happily. This is the first time I've worked with Ji Hoon, but as soon as we get into the scene, we are immediately in sync.
In the movie, the love story of the couple Chu Sang Ah - Bang Tae Seop is of great interest to many people, but the story continuously appears reversed details, making this relationship tense.
Many opinions suggest that the relationship between the two characters is not true love, Ha Ji Won replied: "I think it's more like a binding interest than love. In the process of building the character, the feeling that Bang Tae Seop loves Chu Sang Ah is more clearly expressed. That helps explain the relationship between them.
After that, she laughed and said that many viewers were looking forward to the love story of Chu Sang Ah and Bang Tae Seop. If there is an opportunity, Ha Ji Won wants to continue collaborating with Joo Ji Hoon in a romantic drama to compensate for these expectations.

When asked about the highlights in the later part of the film, Ha Ji Won revealed: "From now on, it's even more attractive. I once told the director that each episode only needs one climax scene, but it feels like each scene is a climax because a lot of energy is put in. Tension, twists and unpredictable things are what create attraction.
Experts believe that "Climax" is a "challenging" work for Ha Ji Won. Regarding this, the actress said that "no work is easy".
Researching and exploring the characters inside is also not simple. Changing the image is not the top priority, but it should be left to the audience to evaluate.
I focus more on how I "survive" in the role. As I get older, I think the responsibility of an actor is to show more maturity. This is a work that I am very interested in, and when living with the character Chu Sang Ah, I have felt more," Ha Ji Won said.
The actress also admitted that in this work, everything was difficult for her. Many scenes Ha Ji Won had to show 2-3 layers of overlapping expressions. Some scenes she even had to film back and forth until morning, making her "spirit exhausted". However, Ha Ji Won still tried not to miss anything, filming until she achieved it.
