Recounting the history of the nation through music
Not just a simple entertainment music night, a "national concert" can mix unimaginable things: parade armed forces, international standard light and sound, newly arranged revolutionary songs. The innovative efforts of units and producers... have brought a new look to art policy programs.
Through music and installation art, history is told through many forms, from music and dance to film effects, combinations between veteran artists and young faces, and even emotional reports, when the veteran choked up saying "Friendship in peace is not easy, now I try to keep it".
Sharing with Lao Dong reporter, director Dang Le Minh Tri - General Director of the concert "Fatherland in the heart" - emphasized that music is the language of the soul, can connect generations, can arouse patriotism and national pride. For an art political program to become a national concert, music and stage lighting must meet the needs of audiences of all ages. The songs must be varied to reach both the parents and grandparents' generation and be new to be close to Gen Z audiences. Each song in each period will tell the story of the country in a profound and heroic way, said director Minh Tri.
Not only showing patriotism by holding a red flag with a yellow star, people also have many ways to immerse themselves in the national concert with items such as conical hats, lightsticks (lighting sticks) printed with flag images, shirts with Vietnamese terminology printed, cotton bears and many items with red flags with yellow stars.
National cultural identity has become a red thread connecting millions of hearts to all join in the same beat, singing together in the proud songs of the nation.
