The People's Committee of Lao Cai province has just issued Plan No. 51 on organizing activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
Through activities to widely propagate the historical and revolutionary traditions of the nation; arouse and foster the people's confidence and pride in the Party, the State and the cause of national renewal; introduce and promote the land and people of Lao Cai.
Accordingly, Lao Cai province will organize many meaningful commemorative activities such as: Offering incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh, commemorating the heroic martyrs of Lao Cai province; participating in the exhibition of socio-economic achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, starting and inaugurating key projects and works...
In addition, the province will organize an art program to celebrate and fireworks from 8:00 p.m. on September 2, at 2 locations: 19.8 Provincial Center Square, Yen Bai Ward and Dinh Le Square, Lao Cai Ward (the fireworks art program is funded from socialized sources).
The program is expected to have the participation of more than 4,000 actors, students, union members, youth, and people with many attractive performances.
On this occasion, there will also be exhibition activities in the province, displaying documents, artifacts, publications, etc. at the Provincial Museum, the Provincial Library with the theme of celebrating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, associated with the celebration of the Provincial Party Congress, towards the 14th National Party Congress.
