On the evening of May 30, after the Buddha bathing ceremony at Dieu De National Temple, thousands of monks, nuns, Buddhists and people participated in the procession of the Buddha to Tu Dam Ancestral Temple. This is one of the important rituals of the Buddha's Birthday Ceremony 2570 - Gregorian calendar 2026 in Hue.
The Buddha bathing ritual (Moc duc ceremony) was solemnly organized by the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Hue City at Dieu De Temple. A large number of monks, nuns, Buddhists, people and tourists attended.

In the sound of Bat Nha bells and drums, venerable monks and nuns perform the traditional Moc Duc ceremony of Hue Ancient Buddhism. After the ritual, the golden body of the newborn Buddha is offered from the altar through the three-entrance gate of Dieu De Temple, honored in a flower car to begin the walking procession to Tu Dam Ancestral Temple.
The procession includes many formations such as agarwood cars, Buddhist delegations carrying National Flags, Dao flags, delegations of young women offering flowers, Nha Nhac troupe with monks, nuns, Buddhists and flower cars.
The procession moved through Bach Dang, Tran Hung Dao, Truong Tien bridge, Le Loi, Dien Bien Phu streets before returning to To Dinh Tu Dam. The line of people stretched more than 1km on a distance of more than 3km, creating a solemn atmosphere and rich in Buddhist cultural identity of Hue.
The Buddha procession is a unique spiritual ritual, becoming an indispensable traditional cultural feature in every Buddha's Birthday season in Hue Ancient Capital.
