On February 24, the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City met with outstanding artists, reporters, and editors on the occasion of the beginning of the year 2025.
Sharing at the event, rapper HIEUTHUHAI (Tran Minh Hieu) expressed his pride that the culture and art of the city and the whole country are developing strongly.
He especially emphasized that the program "Anh trai say hi" is an important mark, contributing to affirming the increasingly large influence of the Vietnamese entertainment industry. At the same time, the male rapper thanked the city government for creating conditions for young artists to promote their talents.
Impressed by the success of the program, Ho Chi Minh City Party Secretary Nguyen Van Nen questioned HIEUTHUHAI's creative inspiration and how to promote artistic programs with spreading power.
Rapper HIEUTHUHAI said that he finds inspiration from simple things in life, and the artist is the one who helps the audience see them from a new perspective. He also emphasized the explosion of idol culture when "Anh trai say hi" attracted a large number of young audiences.
"For the first time, the Vietnamese entertainment industry has developed so strongly. This is just the beginning for young artists to continue to contribute" - HIEUTHUHAI shared.
In response to the question about Ho Chi Minh City's support, HIEUTHUHAI hopes that the city will continue to create conditions to organize more creative art programs.
When Secretary Nguyen Van Nen raised the issue of management mechanisms, the male rapper said that innovation in art requires time for the audience and management agencies to absorb and adapt. "Youth music can be new, sometimes difficult to accept immediately, but time will help people appreciate those values" - HIEUTHUHAI said.
At the meeting, many artists also made proposals to promote the development of culture and art in Ho Chi Minh City.
Ho Chi Minh City Party Secretary Nguyen Van Nen acknowledged the contributions and affirmed that the city always creates conditions for artists to have space to create and develop talents.

In addition, the Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee hopes that the artists will continue to convey positive messages, contributing to building a humane and unique society. He also expected the contribution of the art world in activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
Speaking at the event, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi emphasized the important role of artists, reporters, and editors in reflecting the city's development.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi called on artists and journalists to continue creating valuable works that are both artistic and demonstrate responsibility to society.
Each work is not only the result of talent, but also the love for Ho Chi Minh City - Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi emphasized, at the same time affirming that works with influence will become a bridge between the will of the Party and the hearts of the people.
Ho Chi Minh City leaders also hope that artists, reporters, and editors will actively promote the city's image to the world, especially on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification. He encouraged the press to boldly criticize and contribute ideas to build the city.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi also emphasized that the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day in 2025 is an opportunity for the press to affirm its role in guiding public opinion and truly reflecting the movements of society.
