Responding to Lao Dong Newspaper on July 20, Miss Binh Phuong said that at the time her husband made the will, there were witnesses and notaries.

The Appellate Court of the Supreme People's Court in Ho Chi Minh City has just publicly concluded the signature appraisal on the will made in the US on August 9, 2023 and the sample signatures of Duc Tien on many documents from 2009 to 2023 were determined to be "not signed by the same person".

The above will has the content of leaving all assets to his wife, Miss Ao Dai Dallas Binh Phuong. Meanwhile, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Anh - mother of the late actor Duc Tien - proposed that the court not recognize the will with the view that the will is illegal.

After receiving information about the appraisal conclusion, on July 20, Miss Binh Phuong shared about this with Lao Dong Newspaper. She said that her lawyer has not yet received specific information from the court or appraisal agency other than the contents that have been published in the press.

Notably, Binh Phuong affirmed: "I will provide complete documents, materials, and evidence that there are two witnesses and a notary witness to the late actor Duc Tien who directly signed the will.

According to Binh Phuong, direct evidence of the process of making and signing the will is of great value in considering the case. She believes that a person's signature can change over time due to age, health condition, signing habits or signing circumstances at each time.

My side will provide all documents, materials, evidence and testimonies of the two witnesses and notaries in court to prove that Mr. Tien directly signed the will in their presence," Binh Phuong shared.

According to the previous case file, in addition to the content related to the legality of the will, the revaluation results also identified two disputed real estates, including a house in Hiep Binh ward (HCMC) and a land plot in Tay Ninh (old administrative boundaries were Long An), with a total value of more than 8.7 billion VND.

Currently, the case is still in the process of being considered and resolved by the Appellate Court of the Supreme People's Court in Ho Chi Minh City. The signature appraisal conclusion is one of the documents supplemented to the case file and will be evaluated by the trial panel along with the evidence and testimonies of the parties before making a final verdict.
