With the theme "Dragon and Fairy Descendants", the program aims at the spirit of national pride, honoring works of artistic value, creativity and positive spread in Vietnamese music life.
The highlight of the awards night belonged to Hoa Minzy when the song "Bac Bling" was continuously named in many important categories. The work that helped the female singer win awards includes "Song of the Year", "Excellent Collaboration", "Favorite Song on Radio", "Harmonization and Remix" and "MV of the Year". In the "MV of the Year" category alone, "Bac Bling" achieved a voting rate of 56.4%, showing strong spread in both music and image.
In the "Album of the Year" category, the victory belonged to DTAP's "MADE IN VIETNAM" with 37.2% of the votes. The album was highly appreciated for its consistent idea, combining many Vietnamese cultural elements in modern music structure, and also having a song in the "Top 10 Most Favorite Songs" of Lan Song Xanh 2025.
The "Special Prize" was awarded by the organizers to the song "Continuing the Story of Peace" by musician Nguyen Van Chung, with the participation of singers Nguyen Duyen Quynh, Vo Ha Tram, Tung Duong and Dong Hung. The work carries a humanistic message, associated with the spirit of peace and the aspiration for national unity.
The "Breakthrough Singer" category named Phuong My Chi with 57.1% of the votes, recording the strong transformation journey of the young singer in 2025. Meanwhile, the "Excellent New Face" award belonged to Nguyen Hung with 69.2%, thanks to the song "What's More Beautiful" creating a clear impression in the hearts of the public.
In the movie soundtrack category, the "Favorite Movie Song" award belonged to "Magic" (OST "Dàn cá gỗ") by musician Nguyen Quoc Hung, performed by MAYDAYs group, reaching 55.1% of the votes. The song was highly appreciated for its emotional melody, suitable for the spirit of the film.
The "Bài hát hiện tượng" award was given to "Còn gì đẹp hơn" by Nguyen Hung with 32.7%, while the "Sự kết hợp xuất sắc" award continued to be given to "Bac Bling" - the collaboration between Hoa Minzy, NS Xuan Hinh and Tuan Cry.
The list of "Top 10 Favorite Songs" in 2025 includes: "Bac Bling", "Magic", "Even if it's the end of the world", "Rebirth", "Frog at the bottom of the well", "Dancing in the dark", "Treasury", "What could be more beautiful", "Parade" and "Crocodile tears". This list fairly fully reflects the picture of popular music taste in the past year.
Notably, when receiving the award, Tran Thanh gave the cup to his colleague even though the song "Dù cho tận thế" (Top 10 most loved songs) had a great contribution from him and Erik, musician Nguyen Phuc Thien.
Accordingly, Tran Thanh co-wrote the lyrics of the song "Dù cho tận thế" (Even if it's the end of the world).
In addition to professional awards, two artists Hong Nhung and Quang Linh were honored in the "Achievement" category. Both are names associated with the development history of Lan Song Xanh, having won awards for many years and making persistent contributions to Vietnamese music life.
With a diverse award system and results closely following market reality, Green Wave 2025 continues to affirm its role as one of the prestigious music awards, reflecting relatively comprehensively the face of Vietnamese music in the past year.
