After that, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang performed the oath-taking ceremony: Under the sacred red flag with the yellow star of the Fatherland, before the National Assembly and voters nationwide, I - Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam would like to take an oath: Absolutely loyal to the Fatherland, to the people, to the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; strive to fulfill the tasks assigned by the Party, State and people.
The National Assembly acknowledged the oath of Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Nguyen Van Quang.

In his speech, the new Chief Justice Nguyen Van Quang emphasized that this is a "great honor and responsibility" of his personal relationship with the Party, the National Assembly and the people.
He clearly identified his role as the head of the trial agency, the agency exercising judicial power according to the provisions of the Constitution.
Chief Justice Nguyen Van Quang pledged to fulfill his oath before the National Assembly. Specific action commitments include complying with the Party's leadership and properly implementing the principles and regulations of the Constitution and the law.
Together with the entire political system and the judiciary, the highest goal is to protect justice, protect human rights, civil rights, protect socialist regimes, protect the interests of the State, the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals.
He also expressed his determination to constantly practice, strive, learn from the experiences of previous Chief Justice, and at the same time uphold the responsibility and exemplary role of the leader.
The new Chief Justice declared "determination, determination and constantly innovating" in implementing the Party's policies and guidelines on judicial reform, building a socialist rule-of-law state, perfecting the legal system, creating and promoting the development of the country in the new era.

Support, facilitate and strengthen supervision by the people, the National Assembly, National Assembly deputies and People's Councils over the activities of People's Courts at all levels.
