In an interview with Fairy Jaehyung, host Jung Jaehyung asked, "Do you have time at home?"
Jennie replied, "I really don't... The airport is like my house."
Jung Jaehyung continued to ask, "If you were flying like that, it would be very tiring? ".
Jennie shared: "Once, I had a three-week schedule to London, Paris and the US, I was completely exhausted. Because I constantly move through time zones, I lose the feeling of time. When I finished work, it was time to go to bed; because I often changed places in other countries, my body could not keep up. After getting sick, I learned a lot from this experience".
She added: "I don't know if it's good or bad, but there are times when I'm extremely busy promoting Blackpink. Most people will find it difficult to look at a weekly schedule, but I have experienced it all. And now, since this is my first solo album, I do everything by myself."
After that, Jennie recalled her internship days, revealing that she gave up studying abroad in the US when she was only 14 to intern at YG Entertainment for six years - before debuting with Blackpink at the age of 21.
She recalled: "The reviews were very fierce and my friends left after each review round. It's hard to accept at that age. When you are young, you need to give and receive a lot of love, but internship life is a competition. I think Im stuck in a mindset of only considering people as opponents because Im too focused on debuting.
She continued to share: "It was heartbreaking to see my best friends leave, but I had to wip my tears and continue. However, I am determined to debut regardless. It's not that I think I have special talent - I just believe that this is my only way."
Jennie also shared about the difficulties during her time with Blackpink. She admitted: "I didn't take care of myself."
She added: "I started working too early. I don't even understand myself, but I have stepped out into the world."
However, she has taken advantage of her COVID-19 break as a time to focus on her health.
"I think I've been pushing myself as much as I can because I'm still young. During my break, I spent time researching myself, which took me to where I am now" - she shared.
