On the evening of April 29, at the APEC Exhibition Center (Da Nang city), the Ministry of Public Security in coordination with the City People's Committee opened a series of events "Peaceful Fatherland". This is a key activity towards the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South, national reunification and the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Security Forces.
Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, emphasized the historical role and mission of the force. Leaders of the Ministry of Public Security affirmed: "Through 80 years of building, fighting and growing up, the People's Security Forces have always shown boundless loyalty to the Party, State and People, only knowing that while the Party is there, we are still there". The Senior Lieutenant General also requested the entire force to continue to join hands and unite with the people to overcome all challenges, firmly protect the revolutionary achievements in the new era.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, people and tourists visited the exhibition space with the theme "Silent Shield". The organizers applied multimedia projection technology to realistically recreate historical feats. Visitors directly learn about the case at No. 7 On Nhu Hau street, revolutionary base K20 and participate in virtual reality experience areas. The high-tech interactive crime solving and crime identification game system is skillfully integrated to raise awareness of respecting the law and self-protection skills for the community.

Continuing the series of activities, a special art Gala night will take place on the evening of May 2 with a grand scale. Through the language of contemporary opera and ballet, the program vividly recreates the intellectual battle of undercover intelligence soldiers. The topical highlight of the night is the story of the police force accompanying fishermen to remove IUU yellow cards. This unarmed order affirms the determination to prevent illegal fishing, protect livelihoods for millions of people and maintain the sovereignty of the Fatherland's sea and islands.
