On the afternoon of March 25, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province coordinated with the Embassy of India in Vietnam to organize the opening of the Indian Film Week in Bac Ninh.
This is an activity within the cultural exchange program between the Governments of India and Vietnam.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the Indian Embassy in Vietnam; leaders of a number of Departments, branches and sectors of Bac Ninh province.
The Indian Film Week in Bac Ninh province takes place from March 25 to 28, 2025.
In this round, at Dabaco Lotus Central Cultural Center (Bac Ninh city), the Organizing Committee will present 4 outstanding Indian films, which are works of high artistic value, helping the audience understand more about the country, people and culture of India, including:
The Voice of freedom - an epic story about two revolutionaries fighting for freedom aired at 13:30 - 16: 31, 25.
The English Voice - a touching story about a housewifes journey to self-discovery, aired at 13:30 - 15:44 on March 26.
Living Only Once - an inspirational work about friendship and meaningful experiences in life, aired at 13:30 - 16:04 on March 27.
The City Women - a film full of inspiration about the extraordinary determination of the two female do lat and the sacrifice of their father, aired at 13:30 - 16:11 on March 28.
The film week is a continuation of cultural and artistic exchanges between Vietnam and India, following the success of the Da Nang International Film Festival (July 2024) and the 55th International Film Festival in Goa, India (November 2024).
This is not only an opportunity for audiences to enjoy famous Indian films and experience unique cultural values, but also contributes to fostering the strong friendship and cultural cohesion between the two countries of India and Vietnam.
