The highlight of the opening ceremony is a special art program with the theme "Brightening the Tran Dynasty heritage - Radiantly welcoming the new era", gathering 225 professional and amateur actors.
The program has the participation of many famous artists, such as: My Linh, Anh Tu, Quoc Hung, Ngoc Cai, Viet Hoan; along with artists from the Vietnam Contemporary Art Theater and the Hung Yen Cheo Theater.
With elaborate staging content, harmoniously combining traditional and modern music, the program has recreated the Dong A spirit, honoring the historical and cultural values of the Tran Dynasty; and at the same time contributing to promoting the image of the special national relic Tran Temple - Long Hung and the festival to a large number of people at home and abroad.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Pham Quang Ngoc - Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee - emphasized that the Tran Temple Festival 2026 is an occasion to commemorate, respectfully express gratitude to ancestors and precursors and preserve traditional rituals, the connection between the past and the present and future; between historical values and aspirations for development; between national pride and the responsibility of today's generation towards the homeland and country.

This is also an opportunity to consolidate the spirit of solidarity; promote innovation and creativity; strongly awaken the will to self-reliance and self-strengthening; nurture the aspiration to build Hung Yen to develop quickly, greenly, sustainably, and richly culturally.
From the land of origin of a brilliant and strong dynasty, with the highest literary and martial arts power in history, Hung Yen today is continuing to write a new journey, a journey of development, integration and reaching for a prosperous and happy future.
The Tran Temple Festival 2026 is held for 5 days, from March 1st to March 5th, 2026 (ie from January 13th to the end of January 17th of the Binh Ngo year). This is the first provincial-level cultural event organized after Hung Yen province implemented administrative boundary consolidation, with special significance in the cultural and spiritual life of the locality.
The festival aims to affirm the value of the Tran Dynasty cultural heritage in the ancient Long Hung land - the origin and establishment of the Tran dynasty; express the morality of "drinking water, remembering the source", commemorating and expressing gratitude for the great contributions of the predecessors in the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland.
The ceremony part is solemnly organized with traditional rituals such as: opening the temple gate, offering incense at the tombs of the Tran kings, water procession, pedestrian procession... The festival part takes place sôi nổi with many cultural, sports, tourism and folk games activities, creating a festival atmosphere imbued with identity, attracting a large number of people and tourists to participate.
