The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hung Yen province has just reported the plan to organize the Tran Temple Festival in 2026.
According to the plan, the Tran Temple Festival in 2026 will be organized at the provincial level, taking place in 5 days (from March 1st to 5th). The Tran Temple Festival also organizes many unique cultural activities such as: Exhibition and introduction of OCOP products; promotion of Hung Yen tourism; launching the implementation of a set of cultural environment criteria in traditional festivals; contests for making banh chung, fish offerings, making betel and phoenix petals, pulling fire to cook rice needles; exchanges with Ca Tru clubs; practice of the belief of worshiping Mother Goddess Tam Phu of Vietnamese people; calligraphy contest; Vietnam Poetry Day. The Tran Temple Festival is held at the special national relic of the tomb and temple of the Tran Dynasty kings in Tien Duc commune, Hung Ha district, former Thai Binh province (now Long Hung commune, Hung Yen province). This is a spiritual cultural activity to commemorate and express gratitude for the great contributions of predecessors in the cause of building and protecting the country, imbued with humanistic values, cultural imprints, with great historical significance, harmoniously combining tradition and modernity, showing the unique cultural features of the land and people of former Thai Binh (now Hung Yen province).
