The highlight of this festival is a series of in-depth networking activities to open up many new cooperation opportunities. Among them, the most prominent are the Conference "Meeting Japan in Da Nang: Comprehensive Strategic Partnership - Towards a Sustainable Future" and the Japan Tourism Promotion Conference.
Da Nang city leaders will have bilateral meetings and working sessions with localities and Japanese partners. Organize a field survey program for Japanese delegations at some key projects in the city to introduce Da Nang's investment potential and environment.
Throughout the festival, people and tourists have the opportunity to learn more about the relationship between the two countries through the exhibition of Vietnam - Japan cooperation achievements, the children's painting exhibition and the Vietnam - Japan cultural experience space. The event also gathers 100 booths introducing products, services as well as culinary and cultural features of both countries.
In addition to the agenda contents, the 2026 festival brings a vibrant festival space with many sports and arts activities for the community.
Sports fans will have the opportunity to participate in a football exchange program with Kawasaki Frontale Club (Japan), friendly pickleball exchange, experience traditional Japanese baseball and participate in the Earthing Marathon race.
Cultural and artistic exchange activities are also invested in a variety of ways, including Vietnam - Japan art programs, traditional martial arts performances, Yosakoi dance performances, the "Vietnam - Japan Friendship Melody" contest and the Cosplay Makeup Day.
Through the organization of the festival, Da Nang city expects to continue to strengthen and deepen cooperative relations with localities and Japanese partners. This is also an opportunity for the city to promote investment promotion, trade, tourism, education and employment activities; and at the same time promote people-to-people diplomacy, promote the image and cultural identity of the two countries to a large number of people and international tourists.
