The Tran Temple Seal Opening Festival Spring Binh Ngo 2026 will be held from February 27 - April 3 (ie, January 11 - 16 of the lunar calendar).
On this night March 2nd, early morning March 3rd (ie, the night of the 14th, early morning of the 15th lunar month) to perform the Seal Opening ceremony. During the Seal Opening Ceremony, the Festival Organizing Committee will close Thien Truong Temple to ensure the solemnity of the traditional ritual.
From 1:50 am on the 15th day of the first lunar month (ie March 3), the seal palanquin festival will be held to Co Trach Temple; from 5 am, seal distribution will be organized for people and visitors from all directions at 3 Giai Vu houses, Trung Hoa Temple Exhibition House.
On the 16th day of the first lunar month (ie March 4), the Thuong Nguyen ceremony and ancestral worship ceremony of the Tran Dynasty are organized.
To ensure security for the Seal Opening Ceremony, Ninh Binh Provincial Police have developed a plan, mobilizing maximum forces and vehicles to ensure security and order, traffic safety and activities at the festival.
Accordingly, the Provincial Police mobilized about 2,000 officers and soldiers, divided into 5 protection rings. Among them, 4 rings directly perform tasks in the Tran Temple area with dozens of checkpoints and many patrol teams, to ensure absolute safety for people, property, activities of delegates, tourists and fire prevention and fighting work.
At the outermost round (round 5), the Traffic Police force organized traffic diversion and regulation from afar, and at the same time arranged patrol teams to handle violations on key routes leading to the relic site.
