On the afternoon of March 2nd, the National Assembly Standing Committee continued to give opinions on the report on people's aspirations of the National Assembly in February 2026.
Presenting the report, Chairman of the Committee for Petitions and Supervision Duong Thanh Binh clearly stated that voters and people expressed excitement and confidence in the leadership of the Party and State.
Voters also proposed to continue to pay attention to drastically directing the work of preventing and combating corruption, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management, and synchronously implementing socio-economic development solutions right from the beginning of the year.
Voters and people believe that with the involvement of the entire political system, the election day for National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term will take place successfully and well.
Chairman of the Committee for Petitions and Supervision Duong Thanh Binh also said that voters and people highly appreciate the sense of responsibility of the traffic police force in ensuring traffic order and safety, and functional forces have worked throughout Tet and overnight.
Handling "no forbidden zones, no exceptions, not because of being afraid to abstain from Tet holidays", thereby contributing to raising awareness of compliance with road traffic safety laws, the number of traffic accidents during the Lunar New Year holiday decreased compared to the same period last year.
In addition, voters and people continue to worry about waterway and railway traffic safety; safety issues when organizing traditional spring festivals and festivals in localities.
The situation of food safety and hygiene is developing complicatedly; the number of patients with acute pancreatitis and gastrointestinal bleeding has skyrocketed during and after the Tet holiday, which needs to be concerned by competent authorities and have solutions to overcome in the coming time.

The Standing Committee of the Committee proposed that the National Assembly Standing Committee request the Government and the Prime Minister to continue to direct some contents that voters are currently concerned about.
In which, strengthen inspection and strictly handle violations of waterway and railway traffic safety; strengthen inspection of violations of business conditions for inland waterway transport.
The Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security and localities urgently direct relevant agencies and units to strengthen management, inspection, and supervision of unmanned aerial vehicles and other aircraft.
Expressing her opinion afterwards, National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh said that the issue of house rental prices, real estate prices, and spending prices is still a pressure for people in big cities. Along with that, people are worried about rising electricity prices and tuition fees.
According to Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh, public opinion talks a lot about extra classes and after Circular 29 of the Ministry of Education and Training on extra classes, "the cost of extra classes that parents have to spend is higher than before Circular 29".
Explaining this issue, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh said that because they are brought to the center to teach, additional costs arise for renting the center, teachers traveling, taking children from home to the center...
Many problems follow. When teaching is not done at school and then taught at the center, tutoring and extra classes are a concern for parents" - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh stated.
Another issue according to this leader is that people still reflect that they have to go to centers - where administrative procedures are resolved after the merger of communes and wards - which are further and even more crowded, so the resolution is still slow. Officials also reflect many things but few officials, so they need to pay attention.
