On the afternoon of February 25 (the 9th day of Tet) in Binh Duong ward, Ho Chi Minh City, the procession of Ba Thien Hau palanquin took place. This is a folk festival, held annually by the Management Board of Ba Thien Hau Temple in Thu Dau Mot, together with units and localities.
The procession of Ba Thien Hau palanquin takes place from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM in Binh Duong New Urban Area, Binh Duong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
Ba Thien Hau Pagoda is carried through Le Hoan, Le Lai, Le Loi, Hung Vuong streets... and returns to Ba Thien Hau Pagoda in the new city of Binh Duong.
The festival gathers about 30 lion and dragon dance troupes in Ho Chi Minh City, along with flower carriages, art performance troupes, and flag and flower troupes of fairies and jade girls from 4 Chinese guilds in Thu Dau Mot.

At the procession, lion and dragon dance troupes performed the most unique performances serving the procession of Ba Thien Hau and tens of thousands of people participating in the festival.
It is known that on March 3rd (the full moon day of the first lunar month), the procession of Ba Thien Hau will continue to take place in Thu Dau Mot ward. This is the largest folk festival in Binh Duong province in the past. The procession of Ba Thien Hau palanquin used to have about 100,000 participants in some years.
Notably, this festival has many charity activities such as: parking, distributing drinking water, food, and incense free of charge to people going to the festival. The organizers also carried out many activities to support people in difficult circumstances in the locality.
